Team Building Event EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG
The weather could not have been better: sunshine and pleasant temperatures set the perfect mood for our event.
As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 16 motivated colleagues from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG at Schloss Karlsruhe on 22 July 2024 at 4:00 PM. After a short introduction we split the group into three teams and explained the gameplay and rules of Murder Mystery Geocaching, all in the spirit of suspense and team spirit.
Armed with tablets and our custom app, the teams set off. The route took them past well-known spots and sights in Karlsruhe, including Schloss Karlsruhe, the State Art Gallery Karlsruhe and the Karlsruhe Zoo and City Park. Each crime scene presented puzzles and team challenges where points could be earned. The teams worked independently and competed fairly for the highest score.
During the roughly two hours of gameplay I was reachable by phone as the team guide in case of questions or technical issues, so the teams remained independent yet well supported. The mix of digital clues and analogue tasks provided variety and plenty of fun, and the participants discovered Karlsruhe in a lively, interactive way.
Back at Schloss Karlsruhe everyone gathered for the final awards ceremony. With 150 points the team Bauchgefühl took first place and received well-deserved medals. In second place was team Cirrus with 135 points, closely followed by Ticsis, also with 135 points. The joy over shared successes and the mutual cheering was clearly noticeable.
This format is a true highlight for team building experience in Karlsruhe: it combines puzzle fun, competition and the shared discovery of the city. Whether culture, green oases or distinctive squares, Karlsruhe provides the perfect backdrop for such team building events.
I am already looking forward to the next investigation missions and to more teams who want to actively take part in a team building experience in Karlsruhe. A big thank you to all participants for the great energy and outstanding team spirit!
