Team Building Event Frauenarztpraxis Luise Buxel
Augsburg enchants with its history and lively city center — the perfect setting for a refreshing outdoor experience. On July 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. I had the pleasure of guiding a Geocaching event as a CityHunters team guide for the practice Frauenarztpraxis Luise Buxel.
Nine colleagues met at Elias-Holl-Platz, where I welcomed them and gave a brief run-through of the plan. We split into two teams and set off: a team building experience in Augsburg, active and playful. Using puzzle questions, small team tasks and the app’s digital clues, the groups explored the city — passing sights like the Fuggerei, Augsburg Town Hall and Augsburg Cathedral.
During the tour the teams worked independently and showed a lot of creativity. It was about solving tasks, combining clues and making quick decisions together. That’s how real team building experience in Augsburg happens: not just shared fun, but mutual trust and creative collaboration. I stayed available by phone throughout the tour in case anyone needed support.
The weather was fantastic, which lifted everyone’s spirits. After two hours we all returned to Elias-Holl-Platz for the debrief and award ceremony. Excitement was in the air: which team would score the most points? The winners were clear — in first place was Die Höhlenforscher with 240 points, closely followed by Gynmädels/boy with 195 points.
The feedback showed how well a team building experience in Augsburg works: laughing together, puzzling over clues and the shared feeling of accomplishment when a task is solved brought the group closer. Experiences like this connect colleagues naturally and provide topics to talk about long after the event.
As a guide it’s always a pleasure to see how Augsburg, with its historic corners and small discoveries — from the Fuggerei to the historic water management system — provides the perfect backdrop for an engaging team building event.
