Team Building Event Uzin Utz SE
Perfect summer weather greeted us on 18 July 2024 at 5:00 PM when I welcomed the group from Uzin Utz SE at the market square in Ulm.
As the team guide for CityHunters we started with a short introduction before the 40 participants set off in six teams. The goal was clear: a team building experience in Ulm with fun, excitement and a friendly competitive spirit. Armed with small aids and our app as a guide, the teams solved puzzles, completed team tasks and searched for hidden clues across the old town.
The tour took the groups to familiar sights such as the imposing Ulm Minster, the historic town hall and the intriguing Museum of Bread Culture. These stops provided not only beautiful backdrops but also varied challenges that required cooperation and creativity. During the entire two and a half hour route the teams were on their own and competed for the most points; I remained reachable by phone in case questions or minor issues arose.
What was particularly impressive was how quickly the participants came together: solutions were discussed, roles assigned and strengths brought to bear. For me that is precisely the essence of a team building experience in Ulm — shared moments that connect and motivate. The mood was consistently upbeat and full of energy, and the city of Ulm showed its best side.
Back at the market square all teams gathered for the award ceremony. The winning team Warriors prevailed with 255 points — congratulations. In second place were Ulmer Spatz and Wolffys, each with 240 points. The joy of shared success and the friendly competition were the focus of the evening.
For me the evening was a great example of how Geocaching and interactive challenges work as a team building experience in Ulm: playful, community building and unforgettable. I am already looking forward to the next time we explore Ulm and help teams grow together.
