Team Building Event SHC Group
Murder Mystery Geocaching combines thrilling investigative work with city exploration, making it the perfect concept for an active team building experience in Bayreuth.
As the team guide I welcomed the 39 participants from SHC Group at Residenzplatz on July 12, 2024 at 3:00 pm. After a short introduction the groups were divided into seven teams and equipped with tablets and our app, where technology met adventure. The app led the teams to various crime scenes and presented tricky cases to solve together.
In the heart of Bayreuth the teams began their investigations and discovered the city from a new perspective: stations around the Margravial Opera House, Haus Wahnfried and the New Palace Bayreuth became the scenes of exciting puzzles. It was not just about solving tasks but about genuine togetherness: gathering clues, analyzing traces and completing team challenges — that is what a good team building experience in Bayreuth is all about.
During the roughly three-hour tour the teams were on their own and engaged in a fair competition for the most points. I remained reachable by phone at all times in case of questions or technical issues. The atmosphere was positively charged and the weather held up, which did not dampen the good mood and spirit of discovery.
After three hours all groups returned to Residenzplatz for the joint awards ceremony. First place went to the team Das letzte with 300 points, closely followed by Ice(Cream) Fighters, also with 300 points. In third place was Best Of with 285 points. The winners enjoyed well-deserved medals and plenty of applause.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching once again demonstrated how powerful shared puzzling and experiences can be: fun, communication and strategic thinking were at the forefront. For the SHC Group it became a lasting experience, a true team building experience in Bayreuth that will be remembered long afterwards.
