Team Building Event Mercedes-Benz AG

Six colleagues from Mercedes‑Benz AG met on 10 July 2024 at 3:30 PM for a shared experience full of curiosity and playfulness. As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the Troedelmarkt and said a few opening words to set the tone for the upcoming adventure.

For our Geocaching event in Nuremberg, participants received the necessary instructions and the app setup after a brief introduction and then set off along the route through the old town. The six people split into two teams and went off on their own to search for puzzles, hidden clues and team-oriented challenges. It was all about thinking creatively, paying close attention and finding solutions together, a real team building experience in Nuremberg that challenged and supported everyone.

The route took the teams past well-known sights such as Nuremberg Castle, the Frauenkirche and the Albrecht Dürer House. These landmarks provided plenty of moments of wonder and brought the game to life with little local stories. During the two-hour tour I was available by phone to help with questions or technical issues, which kept the experience relaxed and safe.

The friendly weather gods provided pleasant conditions and the mood was consistently upbeat: there was laughter, discussion and collective guessing. Points were earned by correctly solved puzzles and successful team challenges; in the end everyone met back at the Troedelmarkt for the awards ceremony. Surprisingly the victory went to the team named stars with 0 points, which made us all smile and only lifted the spirits further.

This event showed how much a playful competition brings people together: fun, discovery and mutual support were at the center. A team building experience in Nuremberg can be both effortless and lasting, an ideal combination of urban exploration and collaboration. I am already looking forward to the next groups who want to rediscover the streets, squares and stories of Nuremberg with CityHunters.
