Team Building Event Lufthansa Technik
St. Pauli showed its liveliest side on that July afternoon.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on July 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm of leading an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching tour for 75 colleagues from Lufthansa Technik. The meeting point was Millerntorplatz, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief rundown of the plan. The mood was instantly full of anticipation — perfect weather, high spirits and the promenade stretching out before us.
We split the participants into 15 teams and equipped them with everything they needed: clues, puzzles and the app on the tablets guided the teams through the city. From Miniatur Wunderland past iconic ships like the Rickmer Rickmers to the vibrant Reeperbahn, familiar spots became thrilling scenes for our investigations. Once again it became clear how well urban exploration and a Murder Mystery adventure complement each other for an effective team building experience in St. Pauli.
The teams were on their own during the 2.5-hour tour, competing for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and completing team challenges together. I stayed reachable by phone throughout to help with questions or technical issues — quick clarifications kept the game flow running smoothly.
After playtime everyone met back at Millerntorplatz for the award ceremony. The results were exciting: the winning team was Team 2 with 255 points, closely followed by Team 3 also with 255 points, and in third place Team 8 with 240 points. The joy over prizes and recognition was great — a fitting finale to an intense experience.
This event once again showed why a team building experience in St. Pauli is so effective: it combines adventure, collaboration and city exploration into a lasting memory. As a guide, it is especially rewarding to see colleagues turn into a well-coordinated team — motivated, laughing and succeeding together.
