Team Building Event AWO Kinderkrippe Sternentor
Our event concept turns participants into real investigators: with the iPad Murder Mystery Tour, CityHunters combines digital puzzles with city exploration to create a playful team building experience in Munich. On July 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. I met the group from the AWO Sternentor daycare at Max-Joseph-Platz, ready for three exciting hours.
A total of 16 participants were divided into three teams and given iPads and a brief introduction. After that the groups set off on their own, competing in good spirits, through Munich's Old Town, passing landmarks such as the Frauenkirche, the New Town Hall and the Deutsches Museum.
The competition was all about points: correct puzzle solutions and successfully completed team challenges earned points. It quickly became clear how much these tasks promote collaboration. Quick thinking, communication and shared strategy formed the foundation for a successful team building experience in Munich.
During the tour I was reachable by phone as a team guide in case any technical or organizational questions came up. The teams used the time to discuss clues, exchange ideas and laugh a lot — exactly what makes a successful team building event in Munich.
After three hours everyone returned to Max-Joseph-Platz for the awards ceremony. The weather cooperated and spirits were high. Team 1 won with 150 points, closely followed by Team 3 with 140 points. Third place went to Team 2 with 70 points.
The game showed once again that a sense of discovery, puzzle fun and shared moments of success strengthen the sense of togetherness. On the tour through Munich colleagues get to see the city from a new perspective — historic squares become the backdrop for exciting cases and provide space for conversation and creative problem solving.
It was a joyful, active morning full of team spirit and positive energy. Anyone looking for a team building experience in Munich who also wants to experience the city's highlights will find the iPad Murder Mystery Tour an engaging format that participants love. I look forward to the next adventure with new groups in Munich!
