Team Building Event Helfrich Ingenieure Projektierungsgesellschaft mbH
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming 66 colleagues from Helfrich Ingenieure Projektierungsgesellschaft mbH to Volkach Station Mainlände on July 5, 2024 at 1:30 PM. In ten teams they set off on an exciting Geocaching experience built around fun and togetherness. The mood was fantastic from the start — perfect weather, curious faces and plenty of enthusiasm.
After a short introduction I explained the schedule, handed out the materials and showed the teams how to use the app and tackle the tasks. Then the discovery tour began: participants explored Volkach on their own, followed coordinates, solved puzzles and completed team challenges. They uncovered charming parts of the town, from the historic old quarter and the distinctive town hall to the impressive Mariä-Brück (Pons Mariae) and the Kartäuserkloster Astheim. Again and again it became clear how much a team building experience in Volkach connects people — every task encouraged communication, creativity and collaborative problem solving.
During the tour we as team guide were available by phone for questions or when a task turned out to be tricky. The teams were fully absorbed in the competition: points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and creative team performances. The mix of navigation, brainteasers and small practical challenges produced lots of laughter and genuine aha moments.
After 2.5 hours everyone met back at Volkach Station Mainlände for the awards ceremony. The highlight of the afternoon was of course the results: with great cheer and a wink we congratulated the winning team Geohippies — the trophy this time went to a team with 0 points, which made everyone laugh heartily and emphasized the special atmosphere of our event. Moments like that are typical of our team building experience in Volkach: exciting, surprising and bonding.
This Geocaching event once again showed how a team building experience in Volkach brings work teams closer together while bringing the beautiful town and its sights to life. A big thank you to all participants — I am already looking forward to the next adventure with you.
