Team Building Event Bayerisches Laserzentrum GmbH
The concept of our Geocaching event combines city exploration, puzzle fun and a focused team building experience in Erlangen into an entertaining adventure for companies and teams.
As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 34 colleagues from Bayerisches Laserzentrum GmbH at Bohlenplatz on July 4, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. The group was divided into five teams and after a brief briefing and technical instructions the teams set off through the city center of Erlangen with great enthusiasm.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks, with creativity, cooperation and clear communication usually leading to success. I remained available by phone throughout the entire game so I could help quickly with any questions or technical problems.
The route led the teams to some of Erlangen most beautiful spots. Stops around Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, the Botanical Garden and the Neustädter Kirche offered not only great photo opportunities but also exciting challenges that promoted real team building experience in Erlangen. The mix of navigation, knowledge and hands-on tasks created many aha moments and shared experiences.
The weather was fairly good, providing pleasant warmth and a friendly sky that contributed to the upbeat mood, ideal conditions for being active together. Especially memorable were the moments when teams pulled together, found solutions and loudly celebrated their successes; those are the moments that make team building experience in Erlangen so valuable.
After 2.5 hours all groups returned to Bohlenplatz for the awards ceremony. The winning team Endlas took first place with 345 points, followed by Keineahnung and Die Geokäscher with 315 points each. Congratulations to all participants, it was an enjoyable, bonding afternoon that will be remembered for a long time.
