Team Building Event E-netz Südhessen AG
The 23 employees of E‑netz Südhessen AG met on July 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Luisenplatz in Darmstadt, ready for a refreshing morning of team spirit and small adventures.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a short introduction to the schedule and explained how our technology and the tasks work. After splitting into four teams, colleagues set off eagerly on the Scavenger Hunt. A team building experience in Darmstadt could hardly be better: fun, communication and collaborative problem-solving were at the center from the very beginning.
The route took the teams through Darmstadt’s charming city center, past landmarks like the Hochzeitsturm (Wedding Tower), the Russian Chapel and the Residenzschloss. Along the way they faced a variety of puzzles and team challenges — sometimes tricky, sometimes creative — all designed so each group could play to its strengths. Points were awarded for correct answers and successful teamwork, and a friendly competition for the highest score quickly developed.
During the three hours the teams were largely on their own and organized themselves independently. I remained reachable by phone in case of questions or technical issues, able to offer targeted support without interrupting the spirit of exploration. The weather was pleasant — good conditions for a city walk — and the mood was bright and motivating.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at Luisenplatz for the award ceremony. Sharing surprising discoveries, tricky puzzles and the best team strategies produced plenty of laughs and a lot of aha moments. Experiences like these are exactly what a team building experience in Darmstadt is about: shared successes, fresh conversation topics and a strengthened sense of togetherness.
I’m always delighted by how much Geocaching in Darmstadt brings teams together and creates lasting connections. For E‑netz Südhessen AG it was an active, varied morning — a team building event that will be remembered for a long time.
