Team Building Event KfW IPEX Bank
The 63 participants from KfW IPEX Bank set off on July 1, 2024 with me as their team guide for an exciting afternoon full of puzzles and team spirit.
We met at the Bold Campus in Königstein im Taunus, where I welcomed everyone, gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the game rules, and split the group into 10 teams. The goal was to score the most points in the CityHunters iPad Murder Mystery. After that the teams headed off through the town on their own – the perfect kick-off for a real team building experience in Königstein im Taunus.
In bright sunshine the groups were drawn to the most beautiful corners of Königstein im Taunus. The route took them past historic sites such as Königstein Castle, the synagogue and the Falkenstein castle ruins. Everywhere they encountered tricky cases, creative team tasks and small observation assignments that could only be solved together. The iPads showed the route and the cases – modern puzzling meets local history.
Throughout the tour the teams were left to themselves and competed fairly for points. I stayed reachable by phone for any technical questions or clarifications and supported the groups from the sidelines without dominating the experience. The mix of tension, pace and collaboration produced lots of laughs, surprising ideas and real aha moments.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at the Bold Campus for the award ceremony. The atmosphere was jubilant as winners, creative solutions and especially harmonious team performances were celebrated. The event showed once again that a team building experience in Königstein im Taunus is not only great fun but also strengthens collaboration in a playful way.
For me as a team guide this event remains a highlight — lively teams, a wonderful atmosphere and a town whose sights like Königstein Castle and the Falkenstein castle ruins provide the perfect stage.
