Team Building Event Pfalzklinikum für Psychiatrie und Neurologie AdöR
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of welcoming an enthusiastic group from the Pfalzklinikum for Psychiatry and Neurology AdöR in Karlsruhe on July 1, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. Nineteen participants met me at Friedrichsplatz — an ideal starting point for our interactive iPad Murder Mystery Tour. After a short introduction and an iPad tutorial, colleagues were split into three teams and the race for the most points began.
Our iPad Murder Mystery Tour combined excitement with urban exploration: the app guided teams via an integrated map and location tracking to various checkpoints. There they faced tricky puzzles, creative group challenges and small detective tasks that had to be solved together. Participants discovered well-known sites such as Karlsruhe Palace, the State Art Gallery and the Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe from a completely new perspective.
Even though the weather was unpleasant at first, it did not dampen the mood. On the contrary: the fresh air and collaborative problem-solving brought energy and good spirits. That is exactly what makes team building experience in Karlsruhe so special — shared challenges bring people together and create lasting memories.
The three teams kept a fair and motivated neck-and-neck race right up to the end. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. I was reachable by phone during the tour to help with questions — otherwise the teams were on their own and could show how well they worked together.
After about three hours everyone met back at Friedrichsplatz for the award ceremony. Many congratulations to the winning team Navi crasher with 190 points! In second place was Lucky nb 7 with 150 points, followed by Soko km with 110 points. A great finale for an energetic team building event.
Experiences like this are a great example of team building experience in Karlsruhe: playful, exciting and full of shared moments of success. I am already looking forward to the next time we explore the city and solve puzzles together — perhaps passing the Badisches Staatstheater or the Zoological City Garden. Team building experience in Karlsruhe always remains a special experience.
