Team Building Event Hochfeld-Apotheke
The weather was perfect — bright sunshine for an adventurous afternoon in Augsburg. On June 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 15 employees from Hochfeld Pharmacy at Elias-Holl-Platz as their CityHunters team guide and kicking off our shared adventure.
After a brief introduction I explained the format, handed out tablets with the CityHunters app preinstalled, and showed the teams the key functions. The group was split into three motivated teams and off they went: a pure team building experience in Augsburg, with playful competition, brainpower and plenty of movement through the city's charming streets.
The participants explored Augsburg on their own, following coordinates to sights such as the Fuggerei, Augsburg Town Hall and Augsburg Cathedral. Along the way they solved puzzles and tackled creative team tasks — every correct answer earned points. I stayed reachable by phone and offered hints when requested, but deliberately let the teams decide how to approach each challenge. That collaborative problem solving is what really strengthens team spirit: a genuine team building experience in Augsburg that brings people together.
After 2.5 exciting hours everyone met back at Elias-Holl-Platz for the awards ceremony. The mood was jubilant and spirits were high: the Sunshine team took a well-deserved victory with 210 points, closely followed by the Power Team with 165 points. Everyone clearly had fun and left with both great memories and fresh ideas for working together.
Geocaching in Augsburg is a fantastic way to combine city discovery, competition and shared experience. Whether near the Historic Waterworks, at the Augsburger Puppenkiste or around the city’s historic squares, tasks like these promote communication, creativity and cohesion. Today's event once again demonstrated how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Augsburg can be.
