Team Building Event Tergau & Walkenhorst Intellectual Property GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of leading a special Geocaching experience on June 28, 2024 at 3:30 pm for the colleagues from Tergau & Walkenhorst Intellectual Property GmbH in Würzburg. The meeting point was on Domstraße, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief run-through of the plan. The mood was excited and full of anticipation from the start — the perfect foundation for a team building experience in Würzburg.
Twelve participants were split into three teams. After a short demonstration of the CityHunters app and how to use the tablets, they set off: the route wound through the old town to highlights such as the Würzburg Residence, the Alte Mainbrücke and Würzburg Cathedral. The tour blended city exploration with creative tasks and tricky puzzles — exactly what makes a team building experience in Würzburg so special.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour, the teams worked independently and earned points by solving puzzles correctly and completing team challenges. I stayed reachable by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose. The weather cooperated and added to the good spirits — sunshine and pleasant temperatures created a motivating atmosphere.
The groups tackled the tasks with great commitment: strategic thinking, communication and creativity were all required. Those who wanted took short breaks along the way to share impressions or consult briefly — those moments strengthen bonds and make a team building experience in Würzburg truly memorable.
After 2.5 hours everyone met back at the starting point on Domstraße for the award ceremony. The cheers went to team Raton with 210 points, closely followed by Joghurt with 195 points. Third place went to IceCream Bastards with 60 points. The award ceremony provided a nice finale and space for shared congratulations.
It is always wonderful to see how an afternoon like this brings people together: fun, competition and genuine collaboration combine into an intense experience.
