Team Building Event INDEC GmbH & Co. KG
Lippstadt, with its historic charm and lively city center, provides the perfect backdrop for a shared adventure.
On June 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. I met, as a CityHunters team guide, 11 people from INDEC GmbH & Co. KG at the Town Hall Square. After a friendly welcome and a brief introduction, the participants were split into two teams. For many, this marked the beginning of an active team building experience in Lippstadt, where curiosity and a shared eagerness to act were front and center.
We briefly explained the procedure, how to use the tablets with the CityHunters app, and the game rules. Then the teams set off on their own: orienting themselves, solving puzzles, tackling creative tasks and collecting points. The challenges led them to charming spots and well-known sights such as the Great St. Marys Church, the Lippstadt City Museum and St. Jacobs Church — blending Geocaching with sightseeing so that every contribution counted toward success.
During the tour the teams were in direct competition for the most points. I was reachable by phone the whole time to help with questions or technical issues. The weather cooperated, and the mood was both cheerful and focused — exactly the right mix for an effective team building experience in Lippstadt.
After three hours everyone met again at the Town Hall Square for the final awards ceremony.
The tension was palpable as the results were announced. Surprisingly the race went in favor of team Indachse — the winning team with 0 points. No matter how the scores looked in the end, the fun and the shared experience mattered more than any number.
This Geocaching event once again demonstrated how a team building experience in Lippstadt brings people together, promotes communication and strengthens creative problem solving. Whether searching for clues around the Little St. Marys Church or puzzling together in front of the Damenstift, everyone left with new impressions, smiling faces and the feeling of having experienced something together.
