Team Building Event Navan Germany GmbH
Our event concept blends history, culture and cutting-edge technology into a lively city adventure – exactly what the colleagues from Navan Germany GmbH experienced on June 27, 2024.
At 3:00 PM I, as the CityHunters team guide, welcomed nine participants at Max-Joseph-Platz. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters App we split the group into two teams. Each team received an iPad as their hub, and then the high-tech Scavenger Hunt through Old Town began.
The route took the teams past well-known spots such as the Frauenkirche, the Neues Rathaus and the Deutsches Museum – perfect backdrops for the varied challenges. At several stations there were tricky puzzles and creative team tasks that required observation, communication and ingenuity. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks, and the CityHunters App displayed the standings in real time, adding extra competitive drive.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour the teams were largely on their own and free to choose their strategy. As team guide I remained reachable by phone at all times in case of technical or organizational questions. The good weather helped too: the mood was upbeat, and participants were motivated and full of playful energy.
The iPad Tour is a great building block for a team building experience in Old Town: it combines active exploration of the city with playful competition and naturally fosters collaboration. Whether quick brainteasers or joint challenges in front of historic scenes, the mix is what makes the difference.
After 2.5 hours everyone reconvened at Max-Joseph-Platz for the award ceremony. It was wonderful to see colleagues become genuine teams who laughed, debated and shared moments of success. A small ceremonial presentation capped off the afternoon.
