Team Building Event Mazars
Our concept brings together Geocaching, puzzle fun, and a genuine team building experience in Mitte to create a lively adventure.
On 26 June 2024 at 4:30 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a Geocaching event for 21 participants from Mazars as a CityHunters team guide. We met at Dorothea-Schlegel-Platz, where a short briefing was followed by the distribution of tablets loaded with the CityHunters app — everyone was excited for the discovery tour ahead.
The group was split into four teams and then set off to explore Mitte in a playful way. During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in good spirits for the highest score. Points were earned by solving puzzles correctly and completing shared team tasks — creativity, collaboration and a sharp eye were required. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any support was needed.
The weather cooperated and the mood was great. Participants encountered well-known locations and hidden corners of the city: stations around the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral provided regular landmarks and inspiring backdrops. This is how a company outing becomes a true team building experience in Mitte — full of discoveries, laughter and shared aha moments.
After exactly two hours the app guided all groups back to Dorothea-Schlegel-Platz, where we gathered for the awards. The tension was palpable as the results were tallied. In the end the winning team was Challenger with 0 points, which prompted plenty of laughs and surprised faces and underlined the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Experiences like this show how well Geocaching works as a format to bring colleagues together. A team building experience in Mitte becomes an active, personal event: people learn from one another, solve tasks together and take away more than just nice photos.
I am already looking forward to the next event and to inspiring more teams for team building experiences in Mitte — the city simply offers endless possibilities for exciting team adventures.
