Team Building Event Dres. Thomsen & Kollegen
St. Pauli's mix of history, harbor atmosphere and urban variety makes every city exploration a special experience.
On June 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming the staff of Drs. Thomsen & Colleagues as a team guide for CityHunters to a lively Geocaching event. We met at Millerntorplatz, where we gave a short introduction, explained the rules and handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app. Three teams were formed quickly and the excitement was immediate.
The teams set off to compete for the most points: solving puzzles, tackling team tasks and finding hidden clues. Points were awarded for clever solutions and creative collaboration. As the groups explored St. Pauli on their own, the team spirit was obvious everywhere — a real team building experience that’s fun and brings people closer together.
The route led participants past well-known spots that shape St. Pauli: a glimpse into Miniatur Wunderland, an approach to the historic hull of the Rickmer Rickmers and the pulsating atmosphere around the Reeperbahn. Each station offered new aha moments and opportunities to puzzle things out and exchange ideas together.
The weather was on our side — not perfect, but pleasant, so the teams’ experience wasn’t dampened by rain. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any team needed a hint or some support. That kept the event safe while still leaving room for many small surprises.
After about two and a half hours we met again at Millerntorplatz for the award ceremony. The mood was exuberant: laughter, little anecdotes from the competition and deserved recognition for especially clever solutions. Activities like this show how powerful a team building experience in St. Pauli can be — memorable, social and lasting. I’m already looking forward to the next shared adventure in this unique city.
