Team Building Event Kita Rhinstrolche
As a team guide for CityHunters, I led a Geocaching event for the 23 participants from Kita Rhinstrolche in Potsdam on June 21, 2024. We met punctually at 11:00 at Platz der Einheit, where I welcomed the group and briefly explained the schedule. After a short introduction, the teams received the necessary equipment and the CityHunters app preinstalled on the tablets so everyone could start the adventure well prepared.
The participants were split into four teams and set off with great enthusiasm. Our route took them past well known city landmarks, including the Brandenburger Tor, the Museum Barberini and the Nauener Tor, where exciting tasks were waiting. The mix of puzzles, creative team tasks and observational questions provided plenty of variety and frequent surprises.
Throughout the tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing the team tasks, so everyone could contribute their strengths. I was reachable by phone during the three hours in case any questions or technical problems arose, and I appreciated the constructive energy in each team.
The weather cooperated, the mood was upbeat and the participants discovered new things and familiar sights alike. The combination of a discovery tour and playful competition produced a lot of laughter and good conversations.
After three hours all teams met again at Platz der Einheit for the awards ceremony. The results and the celebration made it clear how much the event had strengthened the sense of togetherness. Team building experience in Potsdam works especially well when people actively explore the city and tackle challenges together.
