Team Building Event Callies Brandschutzsysteme GmbH
On June 20, 2024, 28 enthusiastic employees from Callies Brandschutzsysteme GmbH set off together for an exciting Geocaching experience in Bensheim.
We met at the die Hände fountain on Promenadenstraße in Bensheim, where I welcomed the group and gave a short overview of the schedule. After a compact briefing, each team received the necessary clues and technical equipment, so everyone was well prepared when the four teams began their tour of the town.
The Geocaching route led through the charming town center: stops around the Mittelbrücke, St. George's Church and Luginsland offered not only great photo opportunities but also clever puzzles and varied team tasks. The teams were largely on their own, competing in good spirits for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved riddles and creative team solutions; I was available by phone for questions, so any issues could be resolved quickly.
The weather was perfect and created a great atmosphere — an ideal condition for a team building experience in Bensheim. After exactly three hours all teams reunited at the die Hände fountain for a joint debrief and award ceremony. The tension was tangible: team Benscrime took first place with 360 points, closely followed by overcats also with 360 points. Third place went to bierdorscht with 345 points. The winners celebrated with medals and well-deserved applause.
Activities like this combine play, challenge and connection — and that is exactly what makes a team building experience in Bensheim so valuable. Participants get to know each other in new ways, strengthen collaboration and communication, and see the city from a fresh perspective. Landmarks such as the Rodensteiner Hof or St. Michael's Church become living stations of shared memories.
