Team Building Event Jobcenter Rhein-Lahn
Bad Ems impresses with its historic charm, modern atmosphere and numerous sights along the Lahn – a perfect backdrop for exploring together and an active team building experience in Bad Ems.
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Jobcenter Rhein-Lahn at Brauhaus Bismarcks, Taunusallee on June 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM. After a short introduction and the distribution of the tablets with our CityHunters app, the twelve participants were divided into three teams. The mood was expectant and curious from the start despite the changeable weather, which did not dampen our spirits.
The three teams set off independently on their Scavenger Hunt through Bad Ems. Along the route they encountered well-known landmarks such as St. Alexandra Church, the Bismarck Tower and the Emser Thermal Baths, as well as surprising little spots that held stories and puzzles. At each station they could collect points for correctly solved riddles and creative team tasks – real teamwork was required and produced many aha moments and laughs.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and provided guidance or small hints when needed, without disturbing the groups' dynamics. That created a sense of security – the teams could play freely while knowing support was only a call away. It is precisely this mix of competition, personal responsibility and joint problem solving that makes our team building experience in Bad Ems so valuable.
After three hours we met again at Brauhaus Bismarcks for the awards ceremony. There was plenty of applause, beaming faces and the occasional joke about particularly tricky tasks. The team building experience in Bad Ems showed itself at its best that day: playful, connecting and full of shared memories.
