Team Building Event Marien Apotheke München
On June 16, 2024 at 2:30 PM, the 22 staff members of Marien Pharmacy Old Town gathered for a joint Geocaching event, full of anticipation for the team building experience in Old Town.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the meeting point on Prinzregentenstraße, briefly explained the plan and divided the participants into three teams. After a short introduction the teams received tablets with the CityHunters app preinstalled and the first tasks — and the adventure began.
During the tour through Old Town the teams explored the city center and rediscovered well-known spots such as the Frauenkirche, the Deutsches Museum and the New Town Hall. The mix of puzzles, cooperative tasks and creative challenges turned the Geocaching experience into a lively team building experience in Old Town, combining fun with real collaboration.
The teams were on their own throughout the route and competed in a friendly race for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, successful team tasks and clever combination of clues. I remained reachable by phone during the tour in case questions or minor technical issues came up.
The weather cooperated and created a relaxed, motivating atmosphere — a perfect setting for a team building experience in Old Town. Participants laughed, worked on puzzles and supported one another; everywhere you could feel how shared experiences strengthen team spirit.
After two and a half hours all teams returned to the starting point on Prinzregentenstraße, where we held the awards ceremony. First place went to the team Old Town Sherlocks with 255 points, followed by Zen with 180 points and the Apo-detectives with 165 points. The winners received medals — a great finish to an energizing afternoon.
This Geocaching event once again demonstrated how varied and effective a team building experience in Old Town can be: curiosity, competition and shared successes connect colleagues in a memorable way.
