Team Building Event ActiveKid GmbH
Our Murder Mystery Geocaching blends city discovery, puzzle fun and teamwork into a captivating event concept.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming the ActiveKid GmbH group at Universitaetsplatz on 14.06.2024 at 11:00 and leading them into an exciting Murder Mystery adventure in Heidelberg. After a short introduction we explained the process, handed out the digital tools and divided the 29 participants into five teams.
Armed with tablets and our custom app, the teams set off independently: the crime scenes and challenges took them past well-known sights such as Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirit. The combination of modern technology and classic clue-hunting showed how varied a team building experience in Heidelberg can be.
During the tour all teams competed in a friendly, competitive spirit for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks — exactly the moments when communication and cohesion are required. I remained available by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical issues arose.
The weather turned a bit wild, but instead of spoiling the mood the light rain gave the city and the game a special atmosphere: the narrow alleys of the old town, wet cobblestones and glowing screens created genuine investigator vibes. Moments like these strengthen team spirit and make our Murder Mystery Geocaching a genuine team building experience in Heidelberg.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Universitaetsplatz for the joint award ceremony. First place went to team ZweisameistSpitze with 300 points, followed by team Gewinner also with 300 points. Third place went to Aleas with 285 points.
It was a day full of laughter, clever solutions and new perspectives on Heidelberg.
