Team Building Event WAPP GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching for WAPP GmbH in Bielefeld on June 7, 2024 at 2:15 PM. Seventeen motivated colleagues met at Altstaedter Kirchpark, were warmly welcomed and split into three teams. The mood was tense and expectant from the start — exactly the right setup for a successful team building experience in Bielefeld.
After a brief introduction, each team received a tablet with our app — technology meets adventure. The app guided the investigators through the city center and presented the various cases. Teams searched for clues at prominent locations, solved tricky puzzles and mastered team tasks that demanded cooperation and creativity. Participants discovered the city from a fresh perspective and came across the Sparrenburg, Kunsthalle Bielefeld and Neustädter Marienkirche — places that turned into thrilling scenes in the game.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for successfully completed team tasks. I was reachable by phone for the entire game in case of questions or technical issues, so the flow of play was maintained and everyone could focus on what mattered: team spirit and fun. This Murder Mystery Geocaching is exactly the kind of activity that brings the team building experience in Bielefeld to life.
After two hours everyone met again at Altstaedter Kirchpark for the award ceremony. The winning team received medals and the shared applause showed how much these experiences bring people together. The weather cooperated, the sun lifted spirits, and the views of some of Bielefelds most beautiful corners made the experience perfect.
I will remember the creative solutions, the laughter during the tasks and the palpable strengthening of the sense of togetherness. Whether a company event or a department outing, this format is a great opportunity for genuine team building experience in Bielefeld. I look forward to many more adventures with teams eager to use Bielefeld as a stage for shared success.
