Team Building Event Charge at Friends GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a lively Geocaching event for Charge at Friends GmbH in Augsburg on 28 May 2024 at 2:00 pm. Nine participants met me at Elias-Holl-Platz, I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and explained the format. Two teams were quickly formed, tablets with our app were handed out and everyone was ready to discover Augsburg in a fresh, interactive way.
Our route took the teams across the old town — a real experience for anyone looking for a team building experience in Augsburg. The coordinates and tasks on the tablets led to well-known and hidden spots: from the Fuggerei and Augsburg Town Hall to the Cathedral of Our Lady and traces of the historic water management system. At each station puzzles and team challenges awaited, demanding attention, creativity and collaboration. During the three hours the teams were largely on their own and competed for the most points — an ideal setting for effective team building experience in Augsburg.
I was available by phone during the tour for questions, provided assistance when needed and at the same time left room for independent problem-solving. The game rewarded correct answers and successful teamwork with points — cohesion and fun grew with every task solved. The weather was perfect, which lifted spirits and made exploring the city especially enjoyable.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at Elias-Holl-Platz for the awards ceremony. I was delighted to announce that the winning team Ironteam scored 450 points, closely followed by The Better One with 200 points. Applause, smiling faces and satisfied teams — that is how a successful CityHunters day ends.
