Team Building Event Kinderhaus Bullerbü GmbH und Co. KG

Our iPad Tour blends modern technology with playful discovery – the idea is to experience the city and strengthen team spirit. As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on May 17, 2024 at 5:00 PM of welcoming a group from Kinderhaus Bullerbü GmbH and Co. KG in Nuremberg and leading them through a lively adventure.

The meeting point was the flea market, where I warmly greeted the 17 participants and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App. After the briefing the participants were split into three teams and each team received an iPad as the hub of the tour. Thus our team building event began with a mix of history, culture and modern technology – exactly what makes a team building experience in Nuremberg special.

During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry for the highest score. The challenges ranged from puzzles and observation tasks to creative team challenges that demanded team spirit, communication and ingenuity. The CityHunters App linked all groups in real time, displayed scores and enabled motivating interaction – an ideal combination for a successful team building experience in Nuremberg.

Between stops like Nuremberg Castle, the Frauenkirche and the Albrecht Dürer House there was plenty of laughter, discussion and collaborative searching. The weather was fine, which kept the mood relaxed and made the city easy to enjoy. As team guide I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any team needed support.

After about two hours all groups returned to the flea market, where we celebrated a joint awards ceremony. I especially congratulate the winning team Dabeisein ist alles – with zero points on paper a surprising result, but one that in no way diminished the fun and camaraderie of the evening.

Experiences like this show that a team building experience in Nuremberg can be playful, interactive and closely connected to the city's history. It was a pleasure to spend the evening with such engaged participants and to see how teams grow together and rediscover the city.
