Team Building Event ZOLL Medical Deutschland GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a special iPad event on 15 May 2024: 61 colleagues from ZOLL Medical Deutschland GmbH gathered at 2:45 PM at Theo-Burauen-Platz, eager for a shared adventure. After a brief welcome and instructions on using the iPads and the CityHunters App we split the group into nine teams and the race through the city center began.
Our iPad Tour playfully combined history, culture and modern technology: the teams navigated independently to fascinating locations, solved puzzles and completed creative team tasks. Along the way the Cologne Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Museum Ludwig provided wonderful backdrops for a lively team building experience in Cologne. The CityHunters App was the hub: real-time scores, a motivating live chat and interactive challenges kept the pace high and spirits up.
During the three hours the groups were on their own and could test their strategies. I was available by phone in case any questions came up or technical support was needed. That kept the tour dynamic and safe while encouraging conversation, collaboration and getting to know one another — exactly what a team building experience in Cologne is all about.
The weather was on our side: not too hot, pleasantly cool — ideal for exploring the city. The atmosphere was full of enthusiasm and shared motivation; laughter, animated discussion and the tapping of iPads could be heard everywhere.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Theo-Burauen-Platz for the awards ceremony. A big round of applause went to the winning team The Goats — congratulations! Moments like these turn a team building experience in Cologne into a lasting memory: community, competition and fun all in one.
