Team Building Event Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft
On April 25, 2024 at 3:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a large Geocaching event for Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in Düsseldorf as a CityHunters team guide. 110 enthusiastic participants met at Grabbeplatz, were divided into 22 teams and readied to start — the weather was decent and created a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. Team building experience in Düsseldorf can be this simple and fun!
After a short welcome and introduction I explained the schedule, handed out the tablets preloaded with the CityHunters app and made sure everyone understood the tasks. The mix of on-site explanation and digital support made the kickoff easy and quickly gave each team the feeling of setting off on a discovery tour.
Then they were off: the teams explored the city on their own. Our route led them to well-known sights like Museum Kunstpalast, the Rhine Tower and Königsallee, as well as to hidden spots that invited participants to discover and puzzle over. Points were earned by solving riddles correctly and by completing creative team tasks — that is exactly what makes our Geocaching a powerful method for genuine team building experience in Düsseldorf.
During the three hours I was available by phone to assist with questions or technical issues related to the app. The freedom to act independently and the friendly competition produced many aha moments, spontaneous team spirit and lots of energy in the heart of the city. Düsseldorf showed its charming side and served as a lively backdrop for shared puzzling and laughter.
After exactly 3.00 hours all teams gathered again at Grabbeplatz for the award ceremony. Great joy and applause for the winning team 0 with 0 points — a moment that perfectly summed up the positive, unifying atmosphere of the day. Moments like that stay with you and strengthen team cohesion.
