Team Building Event Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH
The weather was perfect, mild and sunny — ideal for exploring downtown Frankfurt.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of welcoming 36 enthusiastic participants from Alvarez & Marsal Deutschland GmbH to the Euro sculpture on Willy-Brandt-Platz on April 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM. After a brief introduction and the distribution of iPads, the participants were split into six teams and got ready for our iPad Murder Mystery Tour.
The tour was a wonderful example of a team building experience in Frankfurt: the groups solved puzzles in a friendly competition, analyzed clues and completed team tasks to earn points. With the CityHunters app, the teams navigated the city independently and discovered sights such as the Römer, Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and the Alte Oper along the way.
I remained available by phone throughout the game in case any questions or technical issues came up, but the teams worked really well together and set off on their own. The digital Scavenger Hunt combined intense focus with a lot of fun — exactly what a good team building experience in Frankfurt is all about.
It was especially nice to see colleagues exchange ideas, discuss solution approaches and encourage one another. The mix of puzzles, creative tasks and the urban setting created many aha moments and new topics for conversation after the game.
After two hours we met again at Willy-Brandt-Platz by the Euro sculpture for the award ceremony. The atmosphere was lively, the winners cheered, and all teams left with positive energy and shared memories. For many participants the tour was not only exciting but also an immediately noticeable team building experience.
