Team Building Event Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH
Dinkelsbühl enchants with its historic atmosphere and invites visitors to connect the citys history with a sense of team spirit.
On 17 April 2024 at 1:00 pm I had the pleasure of welcoming 14 participants from Carl Zeiss SMT GmbH at the Meiser Hotel on Neue Allee as a CityHunters team guide and sending them off on our iPad Tour in Dinkelsbühl. After a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and how to use the iPads we split into two teams and set off: a team building experience in Dinkelsbühl that was modern, interactive and full of discoveries.
The teams wandered through the picturesque lanes of the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl, passing the impressive St. George Church and the Hospital of the Holy Spirit. At several stations they encountered tricky puzzles and creative team tasks that encouraged observation, communication and ingenuity. The iPads served as the central hub — tasks, clues and the live scoreboard kept the excitement high.
During the tour the groups were on their own and engaged in a friendly competition for the highest score. I was reachable by phone at all times for questions or technical support, which kept the event relaxed and running smoothly. The weather cooperated and provided pleasant conditions, so the mood stayed cheerful and motivated.
After exactly three hours everyone returned to the starting point for a joint awards ceremony. The team building experience in Dinkelsbühl showed its best side that afternoon: many aha moments, laughs and genuine team achievements emerged in a short time. It was especially nice to see colleagues working together, developing strategies and supporting one another.
To everyones surprise the winning team P63 crossed the finish line first — with zero points to their name, but full of pride and good spirits. A lovely example that success at a team building event is not measured only by the score.
