Team Building Event KAMAG Transporttechnik GmbH & Co. KG
The 40 participants from KAMAG Transporttechnik GmbH & Co. KG met on April 17, 2024 at 1:30 PM, excited and motivated, for our iPad Tour in Ulm.
As a CityHunters team guide I warmly welcomed the group at Ulm Town Hall and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and our CityHunters app. After dividing into six teams the adventure began: each team received an iPad as the central tool, and off they went into an interactive experience full of puzzles, team tasks and the joy of discovery.
During the tour the teams explored Ulm city centre and encountered landmarks such as Ulm Minster, the Museum of Bread Culture and the Church of the Holy Trinity. The mix of history, culture and modern technology made the city exploration a varied challenge. The teams were on their own and competed in a friendly rivalry, earning points by solving puzzles correctly and completing creative tasks.
As team guide I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and offered small hints when needed. The CityHunters app connected all teams in real time, showed live scores and provided extra motivation. That way the shared goal was never forgotten: to have fun, laugh together and get to know one another better as colleagues — a true team building experience in Ulm.
After roughly two and a half hours everyone regrouped at Ulm Town Hall for the awards ceremony. The winning team was the SchnitzelHunterTeam with 0 points — a surprising result that showed that at a team building event the shared experience matters more than the score. The weather was pleasant and accompanied us throughout the tour, keeping the mood cheerful all afternoon.
Our iPad Tour in Ulm combines play, strategy and shared experiences — ideal for a team building experience in Ulm and for any group that wants to discover the city, its culture and their colleagues in a new way. I am already looking forward to the next event in this beautiful city.
