Team Building Event Presspart
The 30 participants from Presspart met in high spirits and were ready to take on a special experience in Madrid.
On March 13, 2024 at 3:15 PM I welcomed the group as the CityHunters team guide at Plaza Mayor. After a brief introduction to using the iPads and our app, participants were split into five teams. Each team received a device and everyone learned how the high-tech Scavenger Hunt works – a live leaderboard, interactive tasks and a motivating live chat made the game immediately tangible. This format is a genuine team building experience in Madrid: playful, modern and connecting.
The teams set off and explored Madrid on their own. Along the way they encountered historic squares and architectural highlights, from the bustling Puerta del Sol and the grand facades near the Palacio Real to green oases like Retiro Park. At each station there were puzzles and creative team challenges that required observation, communication and ingenuity. Points were awarded for correct solutions and for successful team actions – fostering a friendly competition full of energy.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and assisted with any questions or technical issues. The app connected all teams in real time, so the dynamics of the game remained intact and each group could enjoy its own moments of individual and team problem-solving. That is how a team building experience in Madrid works: independent, challenging and still well supported.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at Plaza Mayor for the awards ceremony. The excitement was high when the winning team was announced and the winners received their well-deserved medals. A shared closing moment that rounded off the experience and celebrated the teams' achievements.
The weather played along, the atmosphere was buoyant, and I could see colleagues growing into new roles together. Experiences like these show how much fun a team building experience in Madrid can be: they bring people together, create memories and encourage collaboration in a natural, joyful way.
As a team guide I am already looking forward to the next team building event in Madrid – new teams, new challenges and plenty more shared fun in this fascinating city.
