Team Building Event DKV Euro Service GmbH & Co. KG
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on January 26, 2024 of leading the iPad Tour for 76 enthusiastic colleagues from DKV Euro Service GmbH & Co. KG. The meeting point was the Sure Hotel by Best Western Hilden-Düsseldorf on Schwanenstraße, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters App and the use of the iPads. After splitting into 12 teams, we got started: a playful team building experience in Hilden.
The tour took us through the charming town center of Hilden and past well-known sites such as St. Jacobus Church, the Wilhelm Fabry Museum and the Old Town Hall. The mix of history, culture and modern technology showed why a team building experience in Hilden works so well: the challenges demanded observation, creativity and clear communication, exactly the ingredients that make a strong team.
During the tour the teams were on their own, competing fairly for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for collaborative team tasks that often could only be completed by working together. I remained reachable by phone the whole time to provide quick support with questions or technical issues.
The weather did not completely cooperate, but that actually became an advantage: the rainy moments brought people closer, created a cheerful atmosphere under the umbrellas and made the challenges feel even more alive. Conditions like that really foster cohesion and were a real highlight for our team building experience in Hilden.
After roughly two and a half hours all teams met back at the Sure Hotel for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was fantastic as the top three teams received medals and everyone exchanged their experiences. It was great to see how much joy and energy there was in each group.
As a team guide I always enjoy seeing people on the iPad Tour in Hilden not only have fun but also come away strengthened by the shared challenge. A team building experience in Hilden combines hands-on activity, learning and togetherness and leaves participants with lasting memories.
