Team Building Event Intertek Holding Deutschland GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 14 motivated colleagues from Intertek Holding Deutschland GmbH at 4:30 p.m. on January 23, 2024, at the agreed meeting point, the back of St. Peter's main church. After a warm greeting and a brief introduction to the iPad Tour and the CityHunters app, participants were split into two teams and the race for the most points could begin.
Our iPad Tour combines a modern game concept with the exciting city backdrop: a team building experience in Old Town meets interactive puzzles, creative challenges and a touch of competitive spirit. The teams set off, explored the city center and encountered landmarks such as the Elbphilharmonie, the historic Speicherstadt and the striking Chilehaus. Each station demanded problem solving, teamwork and speed — exactly the ingredients that make a team building experience in Old Town so effective and lasting.
During the just under two-hour tour the groups were left to their own devices and organized themselves independently. Points were earned by solving puzzles correctly and successfully completing team tasks. The CityHunters app displayed the current scores and provided extra motivation. Naturally I was reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or technical problems arose.
The weather played along, which lifted everyone's spirits. It was wonderful to watch participants laugh together, swap strategies and discover new sides of one another. That is precisely what makes a team building experience in Old Town so valuable: shared moments, overcoming challenges and strengthening colleague bonds.
After exactly two hours all groups returned to the back of St. Peter's main church. At the joint awards ceremony the scores were celebrated, stories were shared and the winning team was given a big round of applause. Moments like these stay with a team for a long time and are a perfect way to round off a workday in the city on a high note.
