Team Building Event Siemens Healthineers AG
Geocaching combines adventure, puzzle fun and teamwork — this is exactly the event concept we brought to life as the CityHunters team guide in Nuremberg.
On January 8, 2024 at 12:30 pm I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Siemens Healthineers AG at Gewerbemuseumsplatz (Cinecitta) and kicking off the Geocaching. After a brief introduction and an explanation of the format we split the eight participants into two teams. Each received a tablet with the CityHunters app preinstalled and the necessary clues before setting off. I stayed reachable by phone during the tour in case any questions or minor issues came up.
The route led the teams across Nuremberg city center and offered plenty of exciting stops. At challenges around sights like Nuremberg Castle, St. Lorenz and the Albrecht-Dürer-Haus the colleagues showed a great deal of creativity and team spirit. The groups worked independently, tackled puzzles and solved team tasks — always aiming to collect as many points as possible. That is how a real team building experience in Nuremberg is created: puzzling together, laughing together and celebrating the success when a tricky riddle is finally solved.
The weather was fine and did nothing to dampen the mood — on the contrary, the fresh air and lively city scenery added to the positive energy. You could feel the team dynamic strengthen; conversations grew deeper and solutions often emerged from the combination of different strengths. That is exactly what makes a team building experience in Nuremberg so valuable: hands-on collaboration in an inspiring setting.
After about two and a half hours everyone met back at Gewerbemuseumsplatz for a joint finish and the awards ceremony. Applause, smiles and a few anecdotes rounded off the afternoon. For me as the team guide it was rewarding to see how a short briefing turned into a lively experience that continues to resonate.
