Team Building Event Lidl Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG Dettingen
On November 24, 2023 I had the pleasure of guiding the Xmas iPad Tour as a CityHunters team guide for 40 participants from Lidl Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG Dettingen in Marktoberdorf. The meeting point was the market square, where I briefly welcomed the groups and explained the schedule. Promptly at 2:30 p.m. the seven teams set off, eager for an exciting and cheerful time in the town center.
The tour led participants past some of Marktoberdorf's most beautiful spots, including Marktoberdorf Castle, St. Martin's Church and the Old Town Hall. These landmarks provided the atmospheric backdrop for our Christmas Scavenger Hunt and turned the experience into something truly memorable. The team building experience in Marktoberdorf thus took on a special character: culture, atmosphere and friendly competition all in one.
During the roughly two-hour tour the seven teams were on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks that involved every member. I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case any questions or problems arose, but the groups tackled the challenges with great commitment and team spirit.
The weather was fine and the mild conditions contributed to the pleasant mood — perfect for strolling through the festively decorated streets and solving tasks together. The Xmas iPad Tour in Marktoberdorf combines high-tech elements with a classic city experience and promotes exactly what brings teams together: communication, fun and collaboration.
After exactly two hours all teams gathered back at the market square for the awards ceremony. Tension was high as the scores were announced. The winning team was honored with medals and the joy was clearly visible — a perfect finish to an active afternoon full of team experiences.
