Team Building Event STADA Arzneimittel AG
Bad Nauheim impresses with a charming mix of historic architecture and a lively town center – a perfect setting for an interactive murder mystery adventure. As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Murder Mystery Tour for the colleagues from STADA Arzneimittel AG on November 14, 2023 at 1:30 PM.
The meeting point was the Hotel Dolce by Wyndham on Elvis-Presley-Platz, where I gave the group a warm welcome and a brief run-through of the plan. The eight participants were split into two teams, each handed an iPad with the CityHunters app, and off they went: a playful and exciting team building experience in Bad Nauheim.
The route took the teams to the town’s most striking spots. From the impressive Sprudelhof to the Elvis Presley statue and on to the synagogue, the locations provided atmospheric backdrops for the cases and tasks. Along the way the teams collected points by solving puzzles and completing cooperative challenges. What began as a city exploration quickly turned into an intense team building event that demanded creativity, communication and speed.
Throughout the tour the teams navigated on their own and enjoyed friendly competition. I was available by phone in case any questions or technical issues arose — a reassuring option that didn’t detract from the fun. The weather was fine, providing pleasant conditions for group photos in sunny moments and short conversations along the route.
After about two and a half hours everyone met back at the Hotel Dolce by Wyndham for the awards ceremony. The mood was relaxed and enthusiastic: the shared puzzling, laughter and clever solutions created many aha moments and strengthened team cohesion. The team building experience in Bad Nauheim proved to be an effective blend of fun and lasting team development.
As a team guide it was great to see Bad Nauheim and its sights become an interactive stage. Whether teams were cracking tricky clues or swapping strategies, this event will surely stay with the participants for a long time.
