Team Building Event RWE Supply & Trading GmbH
The event concept combines puzzle fun, city discovery and collaborative problem solving – perfect for Geocaching as an active team building experience in London.
On November 6, 2023 at 1:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming ten participants from RWE Supply & Trading GmbH as the CityHunters team guide at the central meeting point in front of the church St Martin-in-the-Fields. After a brief introduction I explained the format, how to use the tablets with our app and the rules, then we split the group into two teams and set off into the city.
The route took the teams across the vibrant heart of London: between Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and the British Museum there was plenty to discover. Narrow lanes, well-known squares and surprising details sparked conversation and motivating aha moments – that’s exactly what makes a team building experience in London so much fun.
During the roughly three-hour Scavenger Hunt the teams were on their own, competing for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, for creative team tasks and for skillfully combining clues. The challenges required different strengths and encouraged quick coordination, which noticeably strengthened the team spirit.
I was available by phone for the entire tour in case any questions or technical issues arose. The weather cooperated, which lifted everyone’s spirits and boosted the joy of discovery. Shared experiences like this are precisely what make a team building experience in London special: movement, communication and shared success in an inspiring setting.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at St Martin-in-the-Fields for the award ceremony. The anticipation before the score tally was high, and the short moments of reflection after the finale showed how much the exchange had improved collaboration.
