Team Building Event Professional Performance UG
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of leading a lively iPad Tour on October 26, 2023 at 10:30 AM for 51 colleagues from Professional Performance UG in Geisenheim. The meeting point was the AKZENT Waldhotel Rheingau on Marienthaler Street, where everyone was warmly welcomed and given a brief introduction to the iPads and our CityHunters app.
The group was split into eight teams and soon got underway: a playful, modern team building experience in Geisenheim. With the iPads as their hub, the teams navigated the charming town center, discovered corners they might otherwise miss, and solved challenges that required knowledge, creativity, and cooperation. The blend of history, culture, and technology made the tour especially engaging.
Along the way we passed familiar spots like the Rheingauer Dom, Villa Monrepos, and Palais Ostein — perfect backdrops for our interactive tasks. The CityHunters app linked the groups in real time, displayed scores, and fueled the competition with a live chat. Every correctly solved puzzle and every successful team challenge brought in points, and every minute counted.
The teams were largely on their own, but they could call me, the team guide, at any time if problems came up. That provided reassurance while giving them the freedom to develop their own strategies and build team spirit. This is the heart of what we offer: team building activities that are fun and bring people together.
After roughly three hours, all groups reconvened at the AKZENT Waldhotel Rheingau for the awards ceremony. The weather stayed pleasant, keeping the mood sunny and optimistic — ideal for an active day outdoors.
