Team Building Event STRABAG AG
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming 33 employees of STRABAG AG at the meeting point Budapest, Ferenciek tere on October 21, 2023 at 9:00 AM. The mood was expectant, and the autumn sky was on its pleasant side — not perfect, but sunny enough to put everyone in explorer spirits. A perfect start for our team building experience in Budapest.
After a brief introduction and the handover of the tablets with our CityHunters app, I split the group into five teams. I explained the procedure, demonstrated the app's features and remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case questions or minor issues arose. Then the teams set off to explore Budapest in a playful way.
The route wound through Budapest's lively center, taking the teams to well-known and charming spots like the Parliament, the Chain Bridge and the Castle District with the impressive Fisherman's Bastion. At each stop puzzles and team tasks awaited to be solved together. Points were awarded for correct answers, creative approaches and good teamwork — creating a friendly competition that strengthened cohesion.
Although the groups were largely on their own, everything stayed fair and great fun. Laughter, lively discussions and happy aha moments accompanied the teams as they cracked codes, pieced together clues and tinkered together. That's exactly what makes our team building experience in Budapest so special: discovering, puzzling and experiencing hand in hand.
After 2.5 hours everyone met back at the starting point Budapest, Ferenciek tere for the awards ceremony. I was delighted to announce the winning team: Team 3 had taken first place — with 0 points, a result that will be remembered for a long time and brought many smiles.
This Geocaching experience once again showed how a team building experience in Budapest naturally creates connections and makes shared fun possible. For companies that want to combine city, adventure and team spirit, Budapest remains an excellent choice — and CityHunters will gladly accompany you on your next company outing.
