Team Building Event Ludewig + Bock Ingenieure Partnerschaft mbB
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a Geocaching event for Ludewig + Bock Ingenieure Partnerschaft mbB on October 20, 2023. At 2:00 PM, 15 colleagues gathered at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Juri-Gagarin-Ring in Erfurt. After a brief welcome and an introduction to the app and game mode, we split the group into three motivated teams — the perfect setup for a genuine team building experience in Erfurt.
The participants set off energized into the city center, exploring Erfurt in a whole new way. Armed with tablets and exciting challenges, the tour took them to landmarks such as Erfurt Cathedral, the historic Krämerbrücke, and the Augustinian Monastery. Along the way the teams were on their own, competing in good spirits to score the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and creative team tasks that required cooperation and communication.
The weather was cooperative: not midsummer-hot, but pleasant and drier than expected — ideal conditions for enjoying the city. The atmosphere was both cheerful and focused; team chants and laughter kept popping up whenever a task was solved in an especially original way. Those are exactly the moments that make our team building experience in Erfurt so valuable: challenging tasks combined with the shared joy of discovery.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour, so small questions or technical hiccups were resolved quickly. That helped the teams keep their flow and concentrate fully on the puzzles and the competition. The combination of speed, smarts, and team spirit showed impressively how bonding shared activities can be.
After three hours everyone met back at the Radisson Blu Hotel for the awards ceremony. The results were exciting and produced a worthy winner — but above all the event left a strong sense of togetherness and many fresh impressions of the city. Team building experience in Erfurt works through moments like these: adventurous spirit, teamwork, and the special atmosphere of the city create memories that last.
I'm already looking forward to the next time we discover Erfurt together and write new team stories while Geocaching. Team building experience in Erfurt is simply something special.
