Team Building Event Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH
The event concept blends a high-tech Scavenger Hunt with a playful team building experience and modern iPad technology, in short an interactive iPad Tour that builds team spirit and is great fun.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of 33 colleagues from Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH on 19 October 2023 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting point was, as usual, in front of Landshut railway station on Bahnhofstraße, where we gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App. The participants were then split into six motivated teams and the adventure began.
Our iPad Tour led the teams through the old town of Landshut. Along the way there were numerous small puzzle stations and creative team challenges to solve together. It called for not only brains and keen eyes but above all communication and cohesion — after all, that is what a team building experience in Landshut is about.
The route passed impressive sights such as Trausnitz Castle, St Martin’s Church and the Stadtresidenz. These landmarks provided wonderful backdrops for the tasks and repeatedly produced moments of amazement. The CityHunters App displayed the scores in real time and gave the teams an extra push to work strategically and with energy.
During the tour the teams were mostly on their own and engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. I remained reachable by phone throughout to help with questions or to clear up minor technical hurdles.
The weather played along, the atmosphere was excellent, and after roughly two and a half hours all teams met again in front of Landshut railway station for the joint awards ceremony. The review brought plenty of laughter, a few aha moments, and above all a visible gain in team cohesion — this is how a successful team building experience in Landshut works.
