Team Building Event Deloitte
The perfect autumn weather accompanied our tour and put everyone in a great mood right from the start.
As a CityHunters team guide, on October 18, 2023 at 5:45 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 18 colleagues from Deloitte at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the participants were split into three teams. The ingredients were clear: curiosity, team spirit and a pinch of competitive drive — exactly what makes a good team building experience in Frankfurt.
Then off they went: the teams set out on their own through downtown Frankfurt with the mission of collecting as many points as possible. Points could be earned by correctly solving puzzles and mastering joint team tasks. The challenges called for problem-solving, sharp observation and above all communication — perfect conditions for a lasting team building experience in Frankfurt.
During the tour I received occasional short calls about questions or technical issues; I was reachable by phone and happy to assist the teams when needed. There was still plenty of space to discover the city with fresh eyes: passing landmarks such as the Römer, the Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus and the Alte Oper sparked lively discussions, creative approaches to solutions and plenty of laughter.
After about 1.5 hours everyone met again at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz for the award ceremony. The atmosphere was exuberant, the point tallying exciting, and the winning team rightly celebrated their success. More than the rankings, though, what mattered that evening was the feeling of having shared an experience and of having strengthened cooperation.
Such iPad Tours show time and again that a team building experience in Frankfurt can be playful, energizing and lasting. For me as a guide it is a real pleasure to see how different personalities turn into genuine team strength in a short time — and all of this in wonderful weather in a city full of charm and history.
