Team Building Event BayWa r.e. AG
The event concept combines modern technology with a playful team building experience and urban discovery – this is how our iPad Tour in Prague kicked off on October 18, 2023 at 2:30 PM with the group from BayWa r.e. AG.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the 85 participants at the meeting point Pražský poledník, gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters App, and divided the group into 14 teams. The iPads were the centrepiece: navigation, puzzles and interactive tasks ran through the app, which also displayed points in real time.
The tour offered a fantastic mix of culture, history and team spirit – a genuine team building experience in Prague. The teams moved independently through the city, explored areas around the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, and were inspired by the sight of St. Vitus Cathedral. At several stations, tricky puzzles and creative team tasks demanded observation, communication and imagination.
While the groups competed for the highest score, I was available by phone at all times for questions or technical issues. The CityHunters App connected all teams, showed interim standings and provided the necessary adrenaline rush. The team building experience in Prague thus became a lively event where collaboration and fun took centre stage.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at Pražský poledník for the joint awards ceremony. In bright weather and high spirits the top teams were honoured: the top three places received medals. Surprisingly the victory went to Team 14 with 0 points – a moment that prompted plenty of laughter and conversation and confirmed the team spirit once more.
Such iPad Tours are more than just a city tour: they combine technology, excitement and shared experiences. Whether along historic routes or on the way to Old Town charm, the team building experience in Prague creates memories, strengthens colleagues and is simply great fun. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in Prague with new groups and many more stories.
