Team Building Event De Nora Water
The participants from De Nora Water met on 23 September 2023 at 10:00 am at the Piazza della Scala in Milan for an iPad Tour, ready for a day full of puzzles, discoveries and team spirit.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group and gave a short introduction to operating the iPads and the CityHunters app. After the briefing the participants were split into four teams — perfect to get straight into competition mode for the team building experience in Milan. Once started, the teams set off to explore the historic city center.
The route led past iconic sights such as Milan Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Castello Sforzesco. Along the way there were interactive tasks and creative challenges that required both clever thinking and cooperation. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks, making it a genuine team building experience in Milan that was fun and strengthened team cohesion.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and developed their own strategies: sometimes debating loudly, sometimes puzzling in concentrated silence. I was available by phone at all times in case of technical questions or organizational concerns. The CityHunters app helped keep track of the scores and added the necessary competitive momentum.
After roughly three and a half hours all teams met again at the Piazza della Scala for the awards ceremony. The weather was pleasant and added to the upbeat atmosphere. The teams finishing in first to third place received medals — a nice finale to a day full of commitment and good spirits.
This iPad Tour combined modern technology with playful exploration and was a convincing example of how a team building experience in Milan works in practice: culture, fun and collaboration in a compact, motivating format. What stays with me most as a team guide is the group’s energy — a thoroughly successful team building event in Milan.
