Team Building Event Reick & Partner
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of welcoming a lively group of 27 colleagues from Reick & Partner on October 12, 2023, at 4:00 PM in Freiburg im Breisgau. The meeting point was Rathausplatz, an ideal place to start our shared adventure. After a brief introduction and the distribution of tablets with the CityHunters app preinstalled, participants were divided into five teams and off they went for an active team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau.
The atmosphere was great from the start. In perfect weather, the teams set off to explore the city center, solve tasks and collect points. Our route took them to well-known spots like the Freiburg Minster, the Martinstor and the University of Freiburg, always with a focus on exciting puzzles, tricky team challenges and shared experiences. The team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau showed itself at its best.
During the tour the groups worked independently, eagerly tackling codes, combination tasks and creative challenges. Each correctly solved task earned valuable points — the competitive spirit was tangible but always friendly and motivating. I was reachable by phone throughout, ready to help with technical questions or uncertainties, quietly supporting without disturbing the teams’ dynamics.
The mix of city exploration, local knowledge and interactive tasks makes Geocaching an excellent way to strengthen cohesion. Our challenges encouraged communication, role-finding and joint problem-solving — exactly what a good team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau is all about.
After two hours all teams returned to Rathausplatz for the awards ceremony. Excitement rose as the results were announced and the applause for the winners was loud. Laughter, conversations about highlights and pride in shared achievements rounded off the event perfectly.
As a team guide, events like this always impress me: Freiburg im Breisgau inspires, the tasks bring people together, and in the end the team is stronger.
