The 35 participants from the company Alexander Bürkle GmbH & Co. KG gathered at Rathausplatz in Freiburg im Breisgau on October 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM, full of anticipation.
As the team guide I welcomed everyone, gave a brief introduction and sent the six teams off. Armed with tablets and our app, the teams set out on a trail through Freiburg im Breisgau — a true Murder Mystery Geocaching that blends fun and strategy. The route led past landmarks such as the Freiburg Minster, the Historical Merchants' Hall and the Martinstor, so every corner of the old town became part of the adventure.
Over the roughly three hours the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for completing joint team tasks. The weather played along and lifted spirits — sunny and clear, ideal for exploring the streets. After exactly three hours all groups regrouped at Rathausplatz, eager for the awards ceremony. In the final gathering successes were celebrated, strong team performances were highlighted and the highest scores were applauded.
