Team Building Event Stadtwerke Bayreuth Energie und Wasser GmbH
The bright sunshine made our start in Bayreuth even more delightful and set the perfect mood for today's iPad Murder Mystery Tour event.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the 18 participants from Stadtwerke Bayreuth Energie und Wasser GmbH in the Hofgarten Bayreuth at 9:00 on October 11, 2023. After a brief introduction and an iPad tutorial we split the group into four teams and set off to track down clues across the city center.
The iPads with the CityHunters app were constant companions: maps, location markers and the cases popped up precisely when teams reached a crime scene area. Challenges, puzzles and small team tasks rewarded clever problem solving and good cooperation with points. Every step became a mix of exploration, puzzle-solving and friendly competition — a perfect team building experience in Bayreuth.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and could work together creatively to decipher clues. I remained available by phone in case any technical questions or follow-ups came up. The route took the groups past well-known landmarks with recurring lovely views of the Margravial Opera House, Haus Wahnfried and the New Palace Bayreuth.
After about three hours everyone met back in the Hofgarten Bayreuth for the award ceremony. The atmosphere was lively and the results were close — fun was clearly the priority at this event. Moments like these show how effective a team building experience in Bayreuth can be: colleagues really come together in challenging yet playful situations.
The combination of a digital Scavenger Hunt, historic backdrops and shared challenges makes this format a special experience. Whether solving tricky puzzles or swapping creative ideas at a station team spirit and good humor shaped the day.
