Team Building Event VR-Bank-Rottal-Inn eG
The 21 participants from VR-Bank-Rottal-Inn eG met on October 7, 2023 at 2:45 p.m. at Kohlenmarkt, ready for an action-packed Geocaching experience in Regensburg.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, and after a short briefing colleagues were divided into four teams. Each person received a tablet with the CityHunters app and a quick introduction so everyone was well prepared to start the adventure.
The route wound through the old town past landmarks such as Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall. Along the way the teams had to solve tricky puzzles and master creative team tasks — exactly the ingredients that make a team building experience in Regensburg so valuable and entertaining.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing against each other in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, skillful teamwork and finding hidden clues. I was reachable by phone the entire time in case any questions or minor issues came up.
The weather cooperated: it wasn’t perfectly sunny, but pleasant enough to enjoy the city. The mood was upbeat and energized — visible togetherness, shared problem-solving and lots of laughter accompanied the teams on their way. It’s moments like these that make a team building experience in Regensburg so special.
After the agreed three-hour duration all groups returned to Kohlenmarkt for the joint award ceremony. Tension rose as the scores were tallied and the winning team was finally presented with shining medals. These closing moments have a lasting effect in strengthening team spirit.
