Team Building Event Hochschule der Polizei des Landes Brandenburg
The nine participants from the Brandenburg State Police Academy met with me at the Palais am Festungsgraben on October 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., fresh, motivated and curious about the day ahead.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the schedule and split everyone into two teams. Each team received a tablet with the CityHunters app preinstalled; I explained how to use it and went over the rules so everyone was well prepared to start the adventure. This is how Geocaching in Mitte begins: clear tasks, navigation technology and plenty of anticipation.
The two teams set off and explored Mitte on their own. In the race for the most points they solved puzzles, completed team challenges and tracked down hidden clues. The stations led us past landmarks such as the Reichstag building, the Brandenburg Gate and parts of Museum Island — perfect settings for exciting tasks and many shared moments. The experience once again showed how well fun and focused work can be combined: a genuine team building experience in Mitte.
During the tour I was available by phone in case any questions or minor issues arose, but I only stepped in to offer support. The teams worked independently, exchanged ideas, laughed and used different strengths to collect points. The weather was pleasant — not too hot, not too cold — just right for exploring the city and staying energized for the challenges. After exactly three hours we met back at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the awards ceremony, applauded the winners and celebrated the strong sense of camaraderie in the group.
This Geocaching event was a lovely example of a successful team building experience in Mitte: playful, energizing and unifying. Anyone who wants to rediscover Mitte and boost team spirit will find at CityHunters a varied mix of sightseeing, puzzles and team spirit — perfect for the next team building experience in Mitte.
